Service Account Manager

ProTech Mechanical, a Crete United company, is looking for an experienced Service Sales Account Manager to grow our commercial HVAC service business throughout Corpus Christi and the surrounding region.

This is a field-based, consultative sales role for someone who understands commercial HVAC, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and knows how to turn operational challenges into practical solutions. You’ll work closely with our service, estimating, and operations teams to develop and sell service agreements, repairs, retrofits, equipment replacements, and system improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with existing customers while developing new business throughout the territory
• Sell commercial HVAC repairs, retrofits, equipment replacements, and service agreements
• Identify system upgrade and replacement opportunities through service history, work orders, facility visits, and customer conversations
• Learn each customer’s operational and financial priorities and recommend solutions that deliver measurable value
• Partner with estimators, technicians, and operations leaders to develop pricing and technical solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, bids, cost-benefit analyses, and service agreements
• Negotiate terms and close opportunities while maintaining trusted, long-term relationships
• Introduce ProTech’s service capabilities to new construction customers
• Sell, renew, and expand recurring and multi-year service agreements
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline, activity reporting, and accurate forecasts
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth transition from sale through project execution

What We’re Looking For

• Three or more years of HVAC service sales, construction sales, or related technical sales experience
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
• Experience building customer relationships and managing sales opportunities from discovery through close
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Organized, self-directed approach to managing multiple accounts and opportunities
• Comfort working in customer facilities, mechanical rooms, and active jobsites
• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and sales-reporting tools

Experience with chillers, boilers, mechanical equipment, service agreements, and retrofit projects is highly valued. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred, but relevant industry and sales experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a field-based position with regular travel to customer locations and jobsites throughout Corpus Christi and the surrounding region. Some visits may require PPE and exposure to active construction or service environments. Occasional availability outside normal business hours may be needed to support customer or business needs.
