What You'll Do:

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and optimize patient health before surgery
• Review patient history, H&P data, and relevant medical information
• Follow existing protocols for patient assessment and care coordination
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, and urology
• Identify and make appropriate patient referrals as needed
• Document and chart review using Epic EMR system
• Support outpatient, pre-operative visits with approximately 8-9 patients daily

What You Need:

• Required:
• Active NY License
• BLS certification
• Epic EMR experience
• Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider in anesthesiology/pre-op setting
• Proven APP experience suitable for pre-operative assessments
• Preferred:
• Experience with surgical specialties mentioned
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
