We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistants to support the Activities Director on planning, scheduling and implementing programs for our residents in a senior living community. If you’re passionate about geriatric care and thrive in a team-oriented setting, we’d love to have you join our team.

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily activities—both group and one-on-one—such as arts and crafts, music sessions, exercise classes, and themed events.
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate, adapting activities to meet varying abilities and interests.
• Help transport residents to and from activities, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain activity spaces—setting up, cleaning up, and keeping supplies organized.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to brainstorm new, creative programs that reflect residents’ passions and life stories.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.

Requirements

• Mut be 18 yrs old.
• A genuine passion for working with older adults and enhancing their daily lives.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt activities for different physical and cognitive abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—patience and empathy are a must.
• Organizational skills to manage schedules, materials, and multiple activities.
• Previous experience in recreation, caregiving, or hospitality is a plus, but a caring heart is essential.
