Job Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized therapy strategies designed to help them accomplish their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based methodologies to support improvements in patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, comprehensive patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to facilitate continued progress outside of therapy.
• Track Progress and Adapt Treatments: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment approaches as necessary to ensure patients remain on track toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and supported.

Licensure and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement.
