Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Bellflower, you will:

• Assess and evaluate clients’ mental health by determining the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms related to mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated treatment and coordinate care for clients with complex needs.

• Stay current with the latest developments in mental health research to incorporate innovative treatment strategies into practice.

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential, and accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Possess a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in divorce and relationship counseling, as well as proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities (such as structural family therapy, narrative therapy, or communication therapy), will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
