Medical Lab Technologist

Labcorp seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist for its Seattle hospital lab location. The role involves performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate test reporting. Position offers a structured schedule with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures per departmental protocols
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Execute and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency working independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $34.25–$52.14 per hour
