Electrical Engineer for AI Training

Apply your electrical engineering expertise to create, validate, and improve high-quality multiple-choice questions and rubrics that train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on turning real-world domain knowledge into clear, pedagogically sound training data and actionable feedback for model improvement. No prior AI experience is required; deep subject matter knowledge is the priority.

• Design and curate single-option multiple-choice questions within your electrical engineering specialty.
• Write clear, concise explanations and detailed rubrics for each question that align with instructional design best practices.
• Review and validate the technical accuracy and pedagogical value of AI-generated electrical engineering content.
• Provide constructive, actionable feedback on AI performance based on domain expertise.
• Document and communicate technical concepts in written form and verbally for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the project team to refine question quality and uphold subject matter standards.
• Contribute to and adapt with an evolving workflow intended to maximize the relevance and clarity of AI training data.

• Background in electrical engineering, with subject matter strength in one or more of: analog circuits, digital circuits, RF (radio frequency), power electronics, and integrated circuits (IC).
• Experience creating educational content, rubric design, or assessment development is strongly valued.
• Teaching, tutoring, or other facilitation experience in electrical engineering is a significant plus.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred, Masters or PhD.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and instructional value.
• Ability to work independently, meet project milestones, and deliver high-quality contributions.
• Comfort with remote collaboration and asynchronous communication tools.

This is a remote contractor engagement. Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. The time required to complete tasks will vary by expert and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply, and experts must submit a minimum of tasks per week. Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and selected experts are expected to start their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.

Pay range: $60 to $80 per hour equivalent. Payment is task-based, tied to deliverables that meet the projects specifications. Time to complete tasks will vary by experience and approach.
