Senior Accountant

DescriptionMy client is a company within the real estate industry looking for a Senior Accountant to fill the role in their Washington, DC office. The ideal Senior Accountant for this role will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with the day-to-day operations and ensuring the financial statements are reported accurately. The responsibilities for the Senior Accountant will include preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, assisting with invoicing, posting various journal entries, reconciling the balance sheet accounts, accounting for WIP, fixed assets and other depreciable assets, along with collaborating with the team to achieve goals. This organization has room for growth and offers good benefits; including medical and dental benefits.
