You'll be a strong fit if you: have demonstrated success generating new business, enjoy prospecting and creating your own opportunities, have developed a strong professional network in Houston, are comfortable meeting business owners, CFOs and executives, generate business through relationships, introductions and referrals, have a history of exceeding goals, growing a territory or earning sales recognition, are competitive, entrepreneurial and self-motivated, want greater control over your long-term income and career.

As a Commercial Risks Producer with Pasadena Insurance Agency, you'll develop relationships with Houston businesses and advise them on their commercial insurance and risk-management programs. We provide the insurance knowledge, market access, technical resources and account support. You bring the relationships, sales ability and drive to build the business. You'll learn commercial property & casualty insurance while building your own portfolio of commercial clients. Unlike many traditional sales positions where the scoreboard resets every year, commercial insurance provides the opportunity to build a substantial recurring book of business over time.

What you'll do: develop new commercial business throughout the Houston market, prospect through relationships, referrals, networking and direct outreach, meet with business owners and senior decision-makers, develop referral relationships with bankers, attorneys, CPAs and other professionals, learn commercial property & casualty insurance and risk management, work alongside experienced insurance professionals to develop solutions for clients, build and maintain a long-term portfolio of commercial accounts.

What you don't need: you don't need an existing insurance book. You don't need prior insurance experience. We would rather hire an exceptional salesperson with the right relationships, work ethic and ambition and teach them insurance than limit our search to people already in the industry.
