Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Ultrasound Technologist - Acute Care Hospital

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 5 days, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing various ultrasound examinations within an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate should have previous experience with multiple types of ultrasound procedures, including those focused on infants, pediatrics, and general adult cases. Flexibility is required, as the Technologist may need to float between the main hospital and an outpatient center.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages.
• Ensure quality imaging and maintain patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Assist in the interpretation of imaging results.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is in working order.
• Document patient records using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current ARDMS certification (specific areas preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Valid California state license in hand.
