Accounting Specialist

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger reconciliations, revenue-related accounting, and month-end close activities. This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, experience in a SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business, and hands-on experience with NetSuite.
Responsibilities
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payment.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and coding issues.
- Post customer payments and reconcile customer receipts.
- Perform account reconciliations, including General Ledger, bank, and balance sheet accounts.
- Code, post, and reconcile purchasing card (P-Card) transactions and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile sales commissions and related accounting records.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Experience supporting month-end close processes.
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
