The role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor is primarily remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules while providing top-notch therapy services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments for new patients, determining their mental health status through interviews and standardized testing.

• Develop individualized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to clients’ needs, including interventions for anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions (both individual and group settings) to help patients progress toward their mental health goals.

• Provide emotional support and crisis management, offering immediate intervention strategies during challenging situations.

• Collaborate with and refer clients to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or primary care providers, when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a diverse client base experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to those with substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Your capacity to create a safe, empathetic atmosphere where patients feel empowered to share their experiences is crucial for effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation and records efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
