Marketing & Business Development Manager

Soni is partnered with aleading professional services firm who is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to drive profile-raising, client engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives. This role will support strategic marketing efforts and execute a robust events program, partnering closely with internal stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify business development opportunities and support cross-selling initiatives

• Lead the development and execution of pitches, proposals, and client presentations; track outcomes and performance

• Manage marketing collateral, website content, and professional bios to ensure consistency and impact

• Conduct research on clients, prospects, industries, and competitors to inform outreach and strategy

• Develop and execute event strategies aligned with business priorities

• Collaborate on thought leadership and educational programming to enhance market positioning

• Support submissions for directories, awards, and rankings, including drafting content and managing timelines

• Contribute to digital marketing efforts including website updates, social media, and email campaigns

• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing initiatives

• Travel as needed for events (approx. 10%)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing events from concept through execution

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot is a plus

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 5-8 years of marketing and business development experience within a professional services environment
• Experience in a law firm or similar environment preferred

Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
