About This Role

The closing manager works alongside the Director for support with daily classroom operations by providing hands-on assistance, coaching teachers, and ensuring classrooms meet Arizona state childcare licensing regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring classroom safety and supervision, supporting staff with behavior guidance and classroom management, maintaining proper staff-to-child ratios, helping ensure compliance with health, safety, documentation requirements, and every day closing procedures of the center. This role serves as a resource for teachers, modeling best practices in early childhood education and work alongside the Director to maintain a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

• Provide hands-on support in classrooms as needed.
• Guide teachers on classroom management, child supervision, and behavior guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Arizona childcare licensing regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor classroom ratios, transitions, and daily routines.
• Coach staff on developmentally appropriate practices and positive interactions with children.
• Assist with classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
• Support proper completion of classroom documentation, health checks, and safety procedures.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and engaging learning environments.
• Support staff with challenging behaviors and communicate concerns to the Director.
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and positive leadership throughout the center.
• Complete end of day closing paperwork and procedures of the center

Minimum of a High School Diploma

Pass a Background Check

CPR/First Aide Certification
