CNC Operator

Overview This job description outlines manufacturing responsibilities and qualifications for a CNC Machinist/Operator role, including operating a machine center with tight tolerances, tool loading/replacement, use of standard measuring tools, and reading/inspecting parts to drawings. The position is day or night shift-based, located in Bay Shore, New York, with no relocation offered. Responsibilities Ability to operate machine center working within +/- .0005 tolerances, adjust machines accordingly Load tool or replace broken insert and adjust offsets accordingly Use of standard tool including Micrometer, Height gauge, etc. Ability to read and inspect parts to drawings Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2+ years of CNC Machinist/Operator experience - Manufacturing Machinery Experience In Any Of The Following a Plus Milling: Mazak, OKK, Niigata Lathes; Mazak, Puma Ability to read and understand specs and drawings Manufacturing experience a PLUS Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge of deburring equipment Shift & Location Day Shift, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Night Shift, 5:15pm-3:45am available. 15% night differential added to hourly and overtime rate.
