CNC Machine Operator - 1st shift, Monday through Friday

Hourly Pay Range: $22 - 26 USD

Reports To

Machine Shop Production Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

Ability to read and understand blueprints
Ability to understand G and M code programs and make minor changes as appropriate
Ability to understand wear offsets and change offsets accordingly
Ability to change tools in the machine and input tool height measurements
Ability to do their own prep set ups
Ability to hold +/- 0.010 tolerance
Ability to change fixtures and indicate fixture zero
Ability to practice safe work habits
Routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine
Quality inspection of parts produced using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring equipment
Must be able to pass a basic Math Test (Fractions and reading a tape measure)
Multi task / Operate Multiple machines
Follow all company work rules, company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area - this includes cleaning / maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areas

Requirements

High School Diploma
Prior Machine Operation preferred
CNC experience a plus
