Production Operator

Bagger Operator Day (6am-6pm) and Night (6pm-6am) shift openings, guaranteed 48 hours per week- hiring multiple candidates! Position Overview This position is located at Profiles Conover, NC manufacturing plant and reports to the production supervisor. As a bagger operator on the production line, you will rotate positions with your teammates throughout your shift. This will include operating the bagger machine, monitoring finished goods for imperfections in packaging, removing defective bags form the line, cutting bags for reprocessing, hand stacking pallets of 50-pound bags if needed, operating a forklift (once trained and certified) and housekeeping duties as needed. We offer a skills base pay (The more you learn, the more your pay increases) Entry Level $16.00 Bagger Level 2 $17.60 Master Bagger $19.36 Duties and Responsibilities: Operate bagger safely and efficiently Maintain preset production goals. Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing. Cut open rejected bales for reprocessing Operate forklift to load and store bags. Perform general housekeeping duties. Perform additional duties as required. Job Requirements: Able to obtain forklift certification (training provided) Education and Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Essential Qualifications: Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment Ability to think critically and communicate effectively Technical Aptitude Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English Physical Demands: Required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: This position works in a manufacturing setting. Must be able to adapt to the noise level of a manufacturing setting, which is usually moderate to heavy. The temperature will vary from hot to cold, depending on the weather. Dusty environment.
