The Company is headquartered in New York, NY with an additional office in the Dallas-Fort-Worth Metropolitan Area./ppAnnaly is seeking a Non-QM Mortgage Scenario Desk Underwriter (Associate/VP) with significant Non-QM experience to join the Non-Delegated mortgage channel and residential Credit team in Dallas, TX or Remote. This candidate will focus on Non-QM scenario desk efforts to engage with mortgage sellers on complex Non-QM questions, pre-flight exception reviews, guideline clarification as well as support underwriters with seller commutation./ppThe ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant credit experience in Non-QM underwriting and/or scenario desk experience. In addition, they should have the ability to make credit decisions/help assist the Onslow Bay contract underwriters, closely interact with our correspondent partners and monitor market underwriting guidelines./ppSupport scenario desk with guideline questions or structuring by reviewing and analyzing borrower profiles, credit reports, title reports, income documentation and assets, appraisals, and complex income analysis to ensure it meets guidelines/ppSupport contract underwriters with guideline interpretation and seller communication as it relates to conditions and acceptable documentation/ppProvide regular performance updates to the Director of Operations, including seller performance metrics, ongoing credit training support, and issue escalations/ppBuild strong relationships with sellers and provide excellent customer service and communication/pp4+ years of relevant credit experience in Non-QM/ppBachelors Degree preferred/ppMortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license preferred/ppAbility to manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize accordingly/ppAbility to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with Senior Management regarding the progress and results of projects and initiatives/ppAbility to underwrite Non-QM and Non-Agency loan products, including but not limited to Bank Statement Income Analysis, Asset Depletion, PL, DSCR, Foreign National and Self-Employment/ppAbility to work effectively under time constraints/ppMust be willing to submit to a background investigation/ppMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States/ppMust be willing to work additional hours as needed to complete deadline driven projects/ppPreference given to candidates able to work in Dallas, TX (on-site three (3) days)/ppRemote work eligibility will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis/ppAnnaly is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations to qualified candidates and employees pursuant to applicable law.
