Structural Analysis Engineer (Associate or Mid- Level)

Structural Analysis Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) Location: North Charleston, SC. This role focuses on structural analysis for composite and metallic material systems in Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) 787 Interiors Stress Team. Responsibilities Perform basic structural analysis for composite and metallic material systems using defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance. Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Define and document certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies. Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Work under general supervision. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences). At least 2 years of experience working in relevant engineering industry fields. At least 1 year of experience performing engineering analysis. Prior experience working on projects with supply chain engagement. Preferred Qualifications (Mid-Level – Level 3) Approximately 5 years of experience performing structural analysis in relevant engineering fields. Minimum 1 year experience performing structural analysis on Interiors or secondary structures. Minimum 1 year of experience working on projects with supply chain engagement. Prior experience performing engineering oversight of supporting production issues related to Interiors or secondary structures. Prior experience supporting test programs for interiors structures. Prior experience with regulatory requirements related to aircraft interiors.
