Furnace Operator 3rd Shift

Overview
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Heat Treat Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, and log recordings; loading of furnaces and unloading per recipe and alarm; providing additional support to part setting as is necessary. Respect for quality and safety are crucial.
Shift
This is an 8 hour shift Sunday through Thursday 11:00 pm through 7:30 am.
Responsibilities
- Perform furnace and gas checks and record logs.
- Load furnaces and unload per recipe and alarm.
- Provide support to part setting as necessary.
- Maintain safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. intermittently.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours.
- Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits
Minimum starting pay is from $20.00/hr. for no production experience and higher for candidates having experience in a production environment. Additional $1.25/hr. pay for any hours worked 5 pm to 5 am. All hires must complete a comprehensive background check including criminal and a 9 panel drug test. Only candidates with a stable work history will be considered.
