PI Litigation Paralegal

Role Description The PI Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation in a full-time, on-site role located in Valley Stream, NY. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, assisting with pleadings and motions, and coordinating filings with courts and other parties. The paralegal will conduct legal research, review and summarize documents, and maintain detailed case files and calendars. Additional tasks may include communicating with clients, medical providers, and experts, managing discovery responses, and helping prepare materials for hearings, depositions, and trial. This role requires consistent in-office presence to collaborate with attorneys and staff and to ensure timely completion of litigation-related tasks. Qualifications Ability to prepare and organize legal documents, including Legal Document Preparation and management of case files. Strong Document Review skills for analyzing medical records, discovery materials, and case-related correspondence. Proficiency in Legal Research to support case strategy and assist with drafting legal materials. Experience drafting and formatting Pleadings and related litigation documents. Capability to assist with Motions, including assembling exhibits and ensuring compliance with court rules. Previous experience as a litigation or personal injury paralegal preferred. Knowledge of New York court procedures, e-filing systems, and litigation deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and organization. Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with attorneys and staff. Proficiency with legal practice management software and common office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PDF tools). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent relevant experience in a law firm setting. Ribacoff & Associates PC
