Test Technician
Our client, a leading aerospace and electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Engineering and Production teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Range: $28-$29
Shift: 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday
What's the Job?
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electronic and mechanical systems, focusing on the Master Clock Computer (MMC) product line
- Conduct functional tests at various stages including board-level, subsystem, and full system levels (Digital, Analog, RF)
- Analyze test data, document results, and identify malfunctions to ensure product quality and compliance
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve testing processes
- Operate test equipment and software within a Windows-based environment, maintaining safety and quality standards
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Technical certification in electronics or related field preferred (e.g., IPC, MIL-STD, vocational training)
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting electronic or electro-mechanical systems in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment
- Proven ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Strong reading and interpretation skills for schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
