Separations Field Application Specialist - New Jersey
Sartorius Corporation
Sartorius seeks a Field Application Specialist to provide technical expertise and support for separation technologies to customers in the NJ/NYC region. The role combines field demonstrations, customer troubleshooting, and sales support to drive product adoption and market growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations with customers; generate structured trial reports
- Support sales team through product positioning, presentations, and customer qualification analysis
- Provide field technical support, troubleshoot implementation problems, and resolve customer inquiries
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and product performance data to inform feature improvements
- Deliver product training to internal sales teams and conduct customer workshops and seminars
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological engineering, biotechnology, or related life sciences field
- 3+ years of process development, bioprocessing, or field application experience in biotech/biopharmaceutical/CDMO settings
- In-depth knowledge of TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, viral filtration, and clarification technologies
- Strong troubleshooting capability for technical and application issues in customer environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to travel >50%, including day trips and overnight travel
- Capability to lift approximately 50 pounds
