Dental Receptionist - Northwest Dental Specialists

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join the team at Northwest Dental Specialists. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications

The salary range for this role is $18-$22 per hour.
