Process Engineer

Location: Rockport, IN Job Summary Process Engineer responsible for providing full professional engineering expertise in the planning and execution of assigned technical projects within the department. The role requires daily contact with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Production personnel to gather information for root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Key Responsibilities Provide professional engineering expertise in planning and executing technical projects within the department. Gather information from Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Production and other relevant personnel for root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Develop comprehensive diagnoses by researching alternative solutions to improve quality, productivity, and cost issues. Analyze component parts and investigate their field application to determine effectiveness. Develop, analyze, prepare, and execute technical projects. Compile data related to project assignments and present summary conclusions to supervision. Develop effective working relationships with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Research, and Technical Service to communicate processing applications as they relate to cost, quality, production, and safety standards. Attend conferences, seminars, and company‑wide round‑table visits to remain current with industry developments. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office for generating reports and data analysis. Awareness of general maintenance and electronic procedures, safety, and cost analysis. Must possess current legal authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Preferred Qualifications Previous industry experience. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation. Basic networking knowledge. Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
