Human Resources Manager
East Bay, CA | Fully Onsite LHH is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead key HR operations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role requires a strategic and hands-on HR leader with strong employee relations expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage complex workplace matters. Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources concentration strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience leading or supervising HR staff.
- Extensive Employee Relations experience, including:
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written communication skills, including investigation and compliance reporting.
- Labor relations and unionized environments.
- Talent acquisition and recruitment.
- Leave of absence administration (FMLA, CFRA, PDL).
- ADA/FEHA accommodations and interactive process management.
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Operate independently with minimal direction.
- Confidently manages sensitive investigations and employee relations matters.
- Advises managers on complex HR issues and recommends appropriate action.
- Thrives in a high-visibility, fast-moving environment.
- Demonstrates urgency, accountability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Contributes to organizational growth and continuous improvement.
- Being fully onsite position in the East Bay.
- Candidates must reside within approximately 30 miles of the office.
- Occasional travel to a secondary Northern California office (mileage reimbursed).
- Oversees a small HR team with future growth potential.
