This role focuses on commercial execution, risk allocation, and efficient contract processes, while partnering closely with operations and business leadership.Key Responsibilities:Contract Review & Negotiation:Lead review, revision, and negotiation of master service agreements, project contracts, and commercial agreementsEvaluate and negotiate key risk provisions, including indemnity, limitations of liability, insurance, and damagesDraft and finalize amendments, NDAs, and ancillary agreementsSubcontracting & Commercial Support:Oversee subcontracting processes in coordination with Operations and ProcurementReview RFQs/RFPs, tenders, and related documents; identify contractual exceptions and risksReview scopes of work and purchase orders to ensure alignment with contract termsContract Lifecycle Management:Manage agreements from intake through execution, including signature coordination and recordkeepingMaintain contract logs and provide regular status updates to Legal Department leadershipPrepare contract summaries to support internal approvals and business executionCross-Functional Collaboration:Coordinate with Legal, Operations, Finance, HSE, and ProcurementSupport contract strategy discussions for customer pursuitsInterface directly with customers and vendors on contract negotiationsProcess Improvement & GovernanceSupport development of contract templates and playbooksMaintain contract databases and reporting processesDeliver contract policy training to operational teamsQualifications:Education, Skills, and Experience:Significant experience in commercial contracts, preferably in industrial or project-based environmentsParalegal certification or advanced contract training preferredPreference for bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceCore Competencies:Advanced drafting and negotiation skillsStrong understanding of commercial risk allocation (indemnity, liability, insurance)Highly organized with ability to manage multiple agreements concurrentlyPhysical Requirements:This role requires the ability to perform work in a standard office environment, including sitting for extended periods and using a computer, keyboard, and mouse on a consistent basis. The position involves frequent viewing of digital screens, clear communication via phone and in meetings.
