What You'll Do

Perform visual inspections of seed samples

Conduct basic lab testing (pH, moisture, protein assays, titrations)

Complete germination and purity testing

Count, organize, and process samples

Follow laboratory procedures and accurately document results

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Natural Science, or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Passport or Birth Certificate required for onboarding

Schedule

• Regular Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Peak Season (Nov–Jan): Must be open to 1st or 2nd shift, overtime, and weekend work
• Up to 50 hours/week during busy seasons

This is a Contract position based out of Lubbock, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
