What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stockroom areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor store traffic, observe for policy violations, and report suspicious activity, disturbances, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and following post orders related to retail operations and after-hours closing procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
