Float Registered Nurse

Overview Join a dynamic Med Surg Float Team as a Registered Nurse, providing high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units. Responsibilities Leading care for complex patients, utilizing specialized training in progressive care. Coordinating patient care by serving as the central contact for clinical disciplines. Monitoring patient safety and documenting care to ensure quality outcomes. Adapting support to hospital needs, especially for high-acuity cases. Qualifications Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or applicable multi-state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. At least 3 years of nursing experience, with Med/Surg and progressive care training preferred. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
