Location This position will be based out of our District Home Office in Cranford, NJ. Weeks Marine Construction's projects span across the NE region of the US. • Maintain healthy safety culture and compliance with company safety policy
• Be responsible for ensuring the project meets or exceeds its financial objectives, by overseeing and monitoring each stage of the development
• Coordinates daily/weekly meetings with all the area superintendents and project engineers to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs and long lead delivery times
• Manage all field operations and work sequences in conjunction with the Project Executive
• Review project estimate or plan to determine estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
• Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections. Also, review, approve, and negotiate change orders
• Anticipate project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delays of production.

o Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, works closely with Project Executive and HR team to manage the relationship with staff and craft

• Form and lead an effective project management team, define and delegate management responsibilities, and set goals
• Review and control of work planning process by project team
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Be an effective leader, communicate with department leads regarding work scopes
• Ensure project superintendents understand and execute the work as required
• Ensure safety, quality, and production are maintained

Responsible for project closeout. Secure loose ends by finishing paperwork, obtaining retainages, supporting supervisors, and expediting claims Qualifications

• Ability to travel and relocate as needed• 10+ years' experience in all aspects of managing construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes - specifically working in Infrastructure, Bridges, Docks, and Marine.• An undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related degree is preferred• Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings• Work independently as well as part of a team• Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies• Effective oral and written communication skills • Strong organization/time management skills#LI-LH1Other Requirements:
