QIDP - QUALIFIED INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES PROFESSIONAL

LOCATION: CHOICE CHICAGO RIDGE - CHICAGO RIDGE, IL

Position: Full-Time 40 Hours per week Salary: Based on experience (Range) $27.23 – 28.23 per hour. Schedule Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in human services field (psychology, special ed., etc.)
2. One-year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities

REQUIREMENTS

Good working knowledge of behavior modification principles and techniques as they relate to the individual with developmental disabilities Current, valid Illinois driver’s license with a clear driving record Clear criminal background and HCWBC Registry reports, or approved waiver from DHS, QIDP certification or completion of QIDP training within 120 days of employment. BASIC FUNCTION

Ensure Case Coordination for Participant Development of annual goals and objectives. Methodologies / Objectives are measurable Completion dates / Revisions / Changes when necessary Maintain participant case files In conjunction with the Program Manager ensure that all participants are obtaining active treatment and that their Plan is implemented. Train DSP staff on implementation of each participant’s annual plan and provide tools to preform active treatment.
