As an Executive Assistant , you will perform a variety of executive level administrative and technical support duties to effectively support an office within the External Affairs Directorate to meet short-and long-range goals and objectives. - Manages a variety of executive level communications in accordance with departmental and agency policy.
- Serves as the liaison between External Affairs Directorate (EXA), its internal program offices and internal/external stakeholders.
- Coordinates and tracks matters dealing with various office activities.
- Maintains the program office Senior Executive Service (SES) sensitive, daily, and long-range calendar events.
- Coordinates the daily schedules, briefing material, and travel requirements for the office Chief.
- Triages and coordinates resolution of high-level immigration inquiries on behalf of EXA leadership.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National to apply for this position
- Successfully pass a Background Investigation including financial disclosure
- You must pass a drug screening
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service
- Political appointees may require OPM approval before on-boarding
- USCIS applies the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 to its telework program
- Managing projects concerned with the analysis and evaluation of mission critical programs.
- Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to make recommendations concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
- Researching data to draft correspondence, reports, policy documents and briefing packages for leadership review.
- Researching and analyzing case management and information systems and making recommendations on immigration case inquiries.
