Position Overview

This position offers a Day 4x10-Hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. It requires previous experience and certification in the relevant field. First-time travelers are accepted for this role.

Job Description

The role involves working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a focus on several critical procedures and diagnostic techniques. Candidates must hold necessary certifications and meet specific experience requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Y-90 Chemo delivery, GI Bleeds, and TPA vein sampling.
• Perform Phase 2 Recovery and cryoablations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize advanced imaging systems for various procedures including biopsies and vascular interventions.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures.
• Document procedures accurately using the EPIC system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, and a valid WA License.
• Experience with advanced interventional techniques such as embolization, stent placement, and more.
• Strong knowledge of safety and sterile techniques.
• Ability to manage and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

Unit Information

This position involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, focusing significantly on interventions in the specialties of GI, GU/Renal, and Pulmonary care. The facility supports a variety of patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Call Requirements

• 2 full weekends in a 6-week period and 9 weeknight shifts are required.

Additional Information

Modules will be required before the start date and annually thereafter. Completion will be self-reported, and maintenance of all certifications is essential for ongoing compliance.
