Project Accountant

Title: Project Accountant Salary: $65,000–$90,000 Location: Greater Boston, MA A growing construction management company is seeking a Project Accountant to join its Construction Finance & Accounting team. This Project Accountant will partner closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance and support projects from setup through closeout. Project Accountant Highlights Hybrid flexibility after initial training Excellent growth opportunity with increased project ownership over time Exposure to high-profile construction projects across multiple asset types Backed by an established real estate organization with strong industry experience Strong benefits package including 401(k) match, PTO, sick time, and 12 paid holidays Project Accountant Responsibilities Manage project budgets, job costs, and monthly projections Prepare owner billings, including AIA G702/G703 Manage retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor compliance Review and cost-code invoices and resolve discrepancies Support project forecasting, audits, reconciliations, and closeout Project Accountant Qualifications 2+ years of project accounting experience Construction industry experience strongly preferred Knowledge of AIA billing, job costing, revenue recognition, retainage, and lien waivers Strong Excel skills; Sage, Procore, or TimberScan experience is a plus Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
