Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for a spectrum of clients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using established assessments combined with observational insights. Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate goals and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing aims. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, which may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise cohesive care plans. Provide educational resources to patients and families to facilitate continued progress outside the clinical setting. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless integration of care throughout the therapeutic journey. Keep meticulous records that adhere to state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training and interaction with colleagues in the field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practices for all age ranges, demonstrating a strong grasp of developmental and acquired communication, language, and swallowing complications.
