Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding setting serving TK-8th grade students with a diverse and engaging caseload of 55 learners in a supportive school-based environment. This full-time contract opportunity near San Jose, CA, spans 37.5 to 40 hours per week over a 186-day school year contract, beginning in August. Work across two to three nearby school sites, collaborating closely with a dedicated onsite occupational therapist (OT) and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Background and Skills:

• Experience or credentialing as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellow (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working in schools or healthcare settings
• Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA are highly valued
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
• Passion for facilitating speech and language development among elementary and middle school students
• Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently across multiple sites
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative team abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech/language assessments and craft individualized treatment plans for a caseload of up to 55 TK-8th grade students
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, families, and other educational professionals to maximize student success
• Maintain detailed progress notes, compose evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Travel between two to three district schools as scheduled
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing educational atmosphere
