Patient Access Representative

This role involves managing all aspects of patient registration, including verifying identity, reviewing schedules, and collecting demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record. Responsibilities also include explaining and completing regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with privacy standards, collecting payments, and providing excellent patient service. Additional duties may involve scheduling, pre-admission, discharge activities, and updating patient information for families. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with two years of customer service or data entry experience, proficiency in computer keyboarding, and interpersonal skills.
