As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Control in Minneapolis, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and notable observations to support daily operations and security-related awareness at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
