Project Estimator

Fusco Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator to join a growing, industry-leading organization in the construction sector. This role is ideal for a driven professional who excels at analyzing project requirements, developing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Estimator will play a critical role in both pre-construction planning and ongoing project oversight, helping to drive efficiency, cost control, and overall project success.

Primary Duties

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate quantitative take-offs.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate costs and generate detailed pricing breakdowns.
• Oversee projects to ensure adherence to budget constraints and project timelines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with clients, construction managers, planners, and design teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Respond to requests for quotes and prepare comprehensive proposals for submission.
• Conduct risk assessments, including evaluation of safety requirements and production risks.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications with a high degree of accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent certifications or experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator or Project Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Experience with detention equipment and installation is a plus.
• Experience managing large, diverse project teams is preferred

Salary Range

$90K- $115K
