Kitchen Manager

A Kitchen Manager is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. They are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. A Kitchen Manager's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Kitchen Managers lead by example first and set the tone that others will follow. PLEASE NOTE: If a candidate has never worked for/in a Chick-fil-A restaurant before, they will almost certainly need to work as a team member for at least 90 days before being considered for a leadership position. Kitchen Manager Responsibilities: Lead/oversee daily operations of assigned shift Troubleshoot staffing for the shift. Provide a fast and accurate service during assigned shift. Communicate and troubleshoot issues with fellow managers. Hold team accountable to handbook and culture standards. Keep a clean and safe working environment. Oversee systems and processes in the kitchen Having 1:1's with Assistant Managers to workshop and explain execution of Chick-fi-A's goals and vision Qualifications and Requirements: Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members Strong commitment to superior customer service Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred. The ability to speak Spanish or another language in addition to English is not required but is preferred.
