Warehouse Logistics Associate IThe Warehouse Logistics Associate I will ensure routine tasks in the warehouse are completed under the close supervision of their direct manager. As a smaller organization, this individual will be one of our site experts in shipping, material handling and overall assurance that product flows in and out of our onsite warehouse without issue.Essential Functions:Receiving packages and products for all areas of the companyPicking Humacyte product to ship to customersShipping product both domestically and internationallyPeriodic Cycle CountsComply with all safety related material handling procedures and equipment including operating fork-lift trucks and power pallet jacksAdhere to all Humacyte Quality Management System (QMS), cGMP, SOP, and policiesWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or methodsDocuments activities in accordance with cGMPsSupport and ensure the proper handling of chemically hazardous goodsInterfacing with electronic business systemsAssist with basic Qualification and Validation activitiesReporting any process issues to Supply Chain leadership or teamsAssist team effort in the effective and timely completion of root cause investigations and CAPA implementationOther duties, as assignedExperience & Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED, required0-2 years of previous experience as a material handler, warehouse, distribution, etc., required1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred; appropriate food industry experience may be considered in lieu of pharmaceutical industry experienceRequired to lift and move smaller size materials physicallyPhysical requirements including stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 poundsPosition may require working holidays, weekends and over-timeBasic knowledge of cGMP requirements, highly preferredPrevious MS Dynamics GP experience, strongly preferredExperience executing SOPs and documenting work, preferredApplies basic logistics skills or operational process to perform routine activitiesAble to troubleshoot basic mechanical/process issuesUnderstands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and has a basic understanding of how the team integrates with othersWorks as a team player, participating in activities that involve cooperating with othersCompensation & Benefits Highlights:Stock Options401k Plan with 4% Match and no Vesting ScheduleMedical, Vision and Dental PlansCompany Paid Long Term/Short Term DisabilityCompany Paid Life Insurance23 Days Paid Time Off (PTO)10 Company Designated Holidays + 2 Floating HolidaysPaid Parental Leave Policies** Please note, Humacyte does not provide U.S. employment sponsorship and does not accept unsolicited resumes from 3rd party firms and/or agency recruiters. **The statements in this position profile are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
