Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Renewed Horizons Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include the following:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of individuals, couples, and families to identify their unique therapeutic needs.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to each client.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions for couples and families, addressing issues such as communication barriers, relationship conflicts, and emotional distress.
\n
• Providing specialized psychological support for clients facing challenges such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and blended family dynamics.
\n
• Implementing follow-up strategies to monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing therapeutic services primarily to adults and adolescents navigating various life challenges, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• Trauma, including physical and psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss, as well as adjustment to separation and divorce.
\n
• Family dynamics, including blended families and sibling conflicts.
\n
• Communication difficulties among family members.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While newly licensed LMFTs are encouraged to apply, the following experience will be advantageous:

• Two or more years practicing as a licensed therapist.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working with both adult and adolescent populations.

• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
