• Work on a rotating schedule: 5 days on, followed by 10 days off
• Be available for 24-hour on-call duties
• Manage a low patient volume, averaging less than 1 acute case per day
• Engage in a hospital-based emergency medicine role
• Obtain necessary hospital privileges
