Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role located in Roseland, NJ. The Associate Attorney will draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents, while conducting legal research and analysis to support client matters and firm litigation. Responsibilities include providing clear legal advice to clients, assisting with case strategy, participating in negotiations, and preparing for hearings, arbitrations, and trials. The role involves close collaboration with partners and other attorneys, regular communication with clients and opposing counsel, and maintaining accurate case files and documentation. The Associate Attorney is expected to manage deadlines efficiently, uphold high professional and ethical standards, and contribute to firm initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law, and apply them to complex fact patterns.

• 3 to 5 years' experience in litigation.
\n
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice that is client-focused and aligned with strategic objectives.
\n
• Proficient in legal Research, including using online research tools, analyzing precedent, and preparing well-supported memoranda.

• Effective Negotiation skills, with the capacity to represent client interests in settlement discussions and other adversarial settings.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in New Jersey.
\n
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

• Commitment to professional ethics, teamwork, and maintaining confidentiality, with prior law firm or clerkship experience preferred.
