Director, Human Resources Location: Emerson Lakes, Lakewood Ranch, FL. We’re excited to share a leadership opportunity for a Human Resources Director — a dynamic, driven professional who will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living’s most anticipated new communities. Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state‑of‑the‑art continuing‑care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and an onsite medical center. Responsibilities Develop and execute HR strategies that align with enterprise‑wide initiatives and foster the development of high‑performing teams. Partner with senior leadership to provide guidance on workforce planning, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement. Lead complex employee relations cases to ensure a fair and inclusive work environment. Create employee engagement and recognition programs that promote retention and support internal growth. Maintain a positive work environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Oversee performance management processes that drive accountability, career development, and engagement. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of management experience in Human Resources. Previous experience as an HR Business Partner supporting multiple business functions and managing an HR team. Experience working with a large, diverse workforce of both exempt and non‑exempt employees. Proven leadership abilities, with experience in leadership development, performance, and change management. Compensation Commensurate with experience starting at $130,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Benefits Culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging.
