Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
35 years of accounting experience (construction or building industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience with accounting software (Accumatica is a plus)
