Avery Dennison is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to lead equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility uptime. In this role, you won't just apply "band-aid" fixes—you'll use your technical skills to identify root causes, troubleshoot electrical/PLC issues, and keep production moving safely.SHIFT: 2:45pm-11pmHourly Rate: $31.47-$41.41/hour depending on experienceThe hiring wage rate range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Avery Dennison reserves the right to modify this information at any time, subject to applicable laws.What You'll DoTroubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic componentsRead schematics and utilize PLCs to diagnose faults on automated linesExecute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment per OSHA standardsPartner with team members and engineers to reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and optimize processesKeep a safe work area, record maintenance logs, and support site goalsQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or equivalent3 - 5 years previous experienceCertifications in specialty areas required as applicable. Or acquire within specified timing any licenses necessary to perform the job.Electrical certification/training or 3-5 years experience.PLC certification/training or 3-5 years experience.Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills and aptitude and logical problem solving skills necessary.Good verbal and written communication.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participating work system.Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner necessary.Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.Preferred:AutoCad proficiencyAssociate Degree or better in Manufacturing or Electrical disciplines.Proficiency in using PLCs to troubleshoot and diagnose to root cause.Additional InformationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or other protected status.
