Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C) Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities. Service Areas Sedro-Woolley, Mt. Vernon, Coupeville Responsibilities Provide face‑to‑face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM‑V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non‑pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Job Type Full‑time or Part‑time available (W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor rates). As a provider with BHS, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, days of the week preferred. Requirements Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry. Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA). Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees). 1 year of Geriatric Psych experience. 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Skills Basic computer knowledge. Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus). Excellent written communication. Attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus! Benefits Billable hourly compensation model (no waiting on reimbursements).
