Manufacturing Operations Coordinator

Raytech, Inc. designs and manufactures high-performance millimeter-wave RF products - antennas, filters, diplexers, and other custom microwave components - for aerospace, defense, and test/measurement applications. We recently acquired MVI, a CNC machine shop in Ontario, CA, to bring precision machining in-house and support our growing product line. MVI has an experienced team of 4 machinists and a strong shop floor foundation - what we need now is someone to help us build the operational backbone around it as we integrate the two companies. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, founder-led company at a real inflection point. You won't be a cog in a big machine - you'll help build the machine. The Role We're looking for an energetic, hands-on generalist to help stand up and run day-to-day operations at MVI. This role sits at the intersection of the shop floor and the business side - you'll work directly with the machinists and directly with ownership. What you'll do: Help coordinate purchasing of raw material, tooling, and outside services Create and manage job travelers and work orders for parts moving through the shop Track project status and keep jobs moving - chasing down what's late, flagging what's at risk Get hands-on with basic machining/shop tasks as needed to understand the process from the inside Help design and implement systems and processes for a shop that's historically run informally (scheduling, job tracking, inventory, quality documentation) Act as a connective tissue between Raytech and MVI as the two companies integrate What we're looking for: A self-starter who's excited to learn manufacturing operations from the ground up Comfort working in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous small-business environment Strong organizational skills - you'll be building process, not just following it Interest in machining/manufacturing; prior shop experience is a plus but not required Basic proficiency with spreadsheets/office tools; ERP or shop management software experience a plus Someone who wants to grow with the company, not just fill a role - there's real room to take on more responsibility (and ownership) as we scale Why Join Us Direct mentorship from ownership - you'll work closely with the people making the decisions High visibility, high impact: what you build here will shape how the company runs Growth potential as Raytech and MVI scale together Small-team environment where initiative is noticed and rewarded #J-18808-Ljbffr
